I wasn't paying any attention at all to the instructions when that mission with the tiger started.  You were probably thinking I was completely distinguished mentally-challenged.  I would have. 

Actually, it was me too. I never played it on co-op, and the co-op partner is supposed to PET the tiger. So I was putting in directions and shit, but then I realized it worked like SR2's sex bathroom minigame and we started to get "courage" points.

Can't speak for PC obviously but the game struggles with the framerate mightily on the console. Which is too bad since I'm enjoying the game.

There's supposed to be 11.11 drivers or a profile or something that improves performance quite a bit for AMD people like the newest NVIDIA drivers did. I'm on NVIDIA though so I can't tell you more than what I saw some posts around the web saying.

One thing I noticed while hunting for cash, drugs and sex dolls is that there are a number of underused areas in the game. In SR2 the missions sent you to basically every inch of the map for various ones. I suppose the grand scale of the missions in this where a lot of them took place all over the city along with the aforementioned crunch from making new assets and a new engine probably prevented that. There's a number of buildings and stuff where they basically only exist in the detail they do so you can get to the hidden box. Almost as if they were meant for other things but got closed up and a hidden box thrown on it to justify the extra effort.

Might consider the season pass if they start opening up and adding to the city with DLC. But that's probably unlikely.

actually too good. I'm having fun just racking up wheelie and powerslide time for the challenges! I've barely done any story missions!

I'm doing a contract kill atm, it says you have to grab a fat ho at Henry Steel Mills for this guy to turn up, but man, I cannot find a ho!

I want to be able to rape the Morning Star with my current beefed up character but you WON'T LET ME. This is especially noticeable since it is one of the best features of SR2 and makes co-op a breeze.

SR3 is on a new graphics engine and shit, so it's understandable it has less to do and is less detailed when compared to SR2.

I'm sure SR4 will be back to SR2 level. Doesn't take away from the fact that what is there is arguably better than SR2.

SR3 is more comparable to SR1 than 2 in terms of content.

Port is great for me, I'm currently having to use a 8800GT and it runs as well as most any other console port at 1080p. (Maybe a bit less, had to kill the ambient occlusion (which also butchered framerates in 2 but not other games, I blame Volition) and the shadows a tad, but otherwise I think I'm all on high.) Nothing like the atrocity that was the Eastern European outsourced 2.

The story missions are a lot better, but I think the city and sidemissions are closer to a wash between the two.

man you get so much respect for some diversions. Hostage taking, and the later chop shop and hitman mission give you tons. I'm already rank 35 and super beefed up, and I havent done too many story missions. Guess thats what I get for focusing on challenges and side stuff early!
