Like almost everything else with this awful angle, they just kind of put it to the side and forgot about it. Feels like it would have made more sense for Joe to have allied with Roman against Daniel Bryan and Rowan (and Harper).

I feel like if Vince decides he wants someone on either RAW or SD it won't matter what stories they have planned, outside of anyone with belts on them. I kiiiiiiiiiinda expect Candace Wrestling to beat Shayna for that reason alone before the draft, which would be awful since Shayna has been invincible outside of her own hubris. But this sets up an immediate feud where Candace can be murder-death-killed by Evil Io Shirai, who is the actual best in the world, unlike Shane McMahon.

Sure it hasn't mattered in the past, but with NXT being a (junior) 2 hour show on USA, will it have more autonomy? Probably not, but maaaaaaaybe? Also, when Johnny got called up for a month earlier this year before that got scrapped, that was in the window of time where he actually had the NA title even! But in the end he didn't stick on the roster, lost the NA title, and sadly Tommy Chompers got hurt; the Viking War Raiders Machine Experience pulled double duty and ended up giving up the belts. I just think there will be less overlap.

Honestly tho I want Shayna to murder Candace and for Asuka to show up and then just let them commit acts of violence on each other for a couple months, she's not doing anything other than running a youtube channel right now anyway.

NXT did 1.1mil and was the #4 cable program of the night, so that's not bad. According to Meltz, TNT is hoping for 400k for the first AEW show, which is easily obtainable imo.
