I like the sort of like the idea that the EU just issues a forever extension for Brexit and the UK just continues to argue about it forever.

Honestly, I think the worst Brexit is the better it will be for EU political stability, which the world needs more than a stable Britian.

This is what could happen if Labour keeps blocking new elections.

Apparently if Labour does not support an election next week and stalls again, Boris will not bring any new Brexit bills or any legislation to the table and will only campaign for new elections during his remainder in office.
Nor will he try to pass the Brexit deal, instead he will run down the clock of any new extension and crash out with no deal anyway if that is the outcome.

Just give them a 5 year extension until they notify what day they plan to leave with no deal.

(Bloomberg) -- Thousands of 50-pence coins minted to commemorate Brexit on Oct. 31 will be melted down after Prime Minister Boris Johnson accepted an extension from the European Union, two people familiar with the matter said.

U.K. Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid had announced plans for millions of coins engraved with the date Johnson pledged to leave the bloc, but production was paused last week when it became clear there would be a delay.

On Monday, Johnson accepted the EU’s offer of a three-month extension to Jan. 31, and the decision was taken for all the coins to be melted down, according to the people, who asked not to be identified. One of them said hundreds of thousands of the coins had been minted already.

Javid’s predecessor, Philip Hammond, had also planned to mint a more limited number of the 50-pence coins to mark the original Brexit date of March 29.

Such typefaces (uppercase only) don't allow for contrast (variations in weights etc.). The text is also displayed without any room to breathe, often stuffed into the corners.
That ad looks like a high school video project and it probably is. The typeface picked is difficult to scan because of the strange height. It's ok to use for one or two words but not sentences or multi-line texts.

Gotham is an example of a more versatile typeface, used in the past by the Obama campaign, Inception, Spotify, Netflix etc. at some point Gotham was everywhere.
Now politicians are using Gotham a lot because it is such a clear and strong typeface and the obvious Obama connection.

Proxima Nova is a sort of boring typeface the Conservatives in the UK are often using in their messaging but it allows for multiple weights and styles to play with.
The Vote Leave campaign was also really well designed compared to the
Britain
Stronger
In
Europe

campaign.

Which was literally difficult to read lined out like this.

And there was this:

Some expensive 9 figure agency designed '#votin' ads which completely bombed. Because it was literally the "How do you do kids.gif" in ad form. the typeface was fine but the color all wrong.
Red is associated with 'Against'. So Chilln(g), Meetin(g), Tourin(g), Votin(g) tells people to vote but not clearly what to vote for. The subtext also doesn't say what you should vote. You should register to vote.
Imagine someone walking up to you, saying: "Life's better in the EU. But it's [pause] at risk. [pause] Register to vote by 7th [pause] June at (URL). WRONG WRONG WRONG

Let's stay in the EU [pause]
Register to vote by 7th June [pause]
gov.uk/register-to-vote

An article describing the 'brilliant' ads ended with this jab:
Quote
The official opposition campaign group, Vote Leave, is using a logo, which is understood to have been designed in-house and features a red ballot box graphic.
At the time of publication, a representative from Vote Leave’s design team was unable to comment further on the design of its logo or campaign.
which along with "Take back control" was simply brilliantly executed. The logo told people in a way everyone understands what to do in the simplest form. "VOTE LEAVE" at the ballot box.

It reminds me of a comment from one of my favorite designers, Chris Do.
"We designers often try to be smart but it is already difficult enough to make a good design"

Over 50 current MPs are standing down for the GE in December (nearly 10%).

That will be quite a lot of reshuffling. Though I'm sure it will make fuck all difference.

An anti-vaccination mother took to social media on Wednesday to share her decision to give out tainted lollipops for Halloween.

The Australian mother, who identifies herself online as Sarah Walker RN, shared in the private Facebook group "Stop Mandatory Vaccination" that her son, whose name has been redacted, contracted chickenpox and that she planned to "help" other children in the community by spreading the virus through candy.

"So my beautiful son [redacted] has the chickenpox at the moment and we've both decided to help others with natural immunity this Halloween!" Walker wrote. "We have the packaging open and closing down pat and can't wait to help others in our community."

Walker's message was screenshot and shared on Light for Riley, a page dedicated to protecting "babies & families from vaccine-preventable diseases" in honor of Riley Hughes, a baby boy who tragically died from whooping cough in March 2015.

"Have you ever seen something that instantaneously makes your skin crawl?" the post, written by Riley's father, Greg Hughes, reads.

The yearly Zwarte Piet or Black Pete wars have begun early in the Netherlands this year.
Since a few years a bunch of people want Zwarte Piet/Black Pete to be banned because they consider it racist.
Others consider it part of the Sinterklaas tradition.

Usually the anti-Black Pete people resort to violent protests and death threats (as they are close to the militant left).
This year however, the anti-anti-black pete people have 'fired the first shot' by storming a gathering of anti-Black Pete activists with fire works.
Or was it Russians trying to stir up political unrest.

Anyhow the Black Pete diversion comes at a good time for our government.
Apparently we bombed Iraq and innocents died and the government is sort of 'shrug, we don't recall' about it.
However, the special UN envoy to Iraq is none other than our previous secretary of Defense Jeanine Antoinette Hennis-Plasschaert.
And she was in that position when this war crime occurred, awkward!

Like other people of her stature she tweets and she tweeted something that the Iraqi's didn't like. So now she has somehow
become a target of their protests, being refered to as a lapdog of Iran as well.

The UN together with Iran the Iraqi's say are only there to take their oil.
Iraq has arrived at a crossroads where they hate both the US/NATO/UN and Iran/Russia.

They hate her guts and we're like: "Wait, how the hell did she fail upwards to get a job as UN envoy LMAO"
