The seven main characters are old high school friends that are now in their early 30's. There's 4 men and 3 women. You mainly refer to their by their nicknames (which is all you have to go on at the first of the game) and the guys are Monkey, Shorty, Fatty, and Four-Eyes and the women are Snappy, Bestie, and Bitch. So yeah, in the above screenshot where they guy is saying "Bitch, we lost" he was actually using it as a proper noun, which was worth a few sensible chuckles.

It doesn't. AFAIK once you've been Greenlit before, you can publish whenever you want. I think Japan didn't get the memo due to crap language support on Valve's end.

Valkyrie Drive is out on Steam. You get a slight discount if you own Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus, IIRC.

The port is awesome- gotta be the best one yet from Marvelous. Here's footage of it playing in 4K resolution at a solid 60 FPS.

Tried installing it on my GPD WIN and it even scales down really, really well- I can run it at a resolution slightly lower than the Vita's 960x544 res and get a rock-solid 30 FPS on low settings, and that's with v-sync enabled. It plays much better than the the Vita version for the smooth framerate alone.

Taking out characters who have been included in the last couple of games and making them DLC is greedy as hell.
