Before the K-On GAF (or IRC) was a thing, the PokeGAF IRC for a while almost became pretty much K-OnGAF. Some people like Chet was so perverted, and he would often spam the same stupid K-On GIFs everyday. It was absolutely annoying, I ended up leaving til that whole shit settled down.

Oh and his IRC name is permanently The_Tits_Of_Mio_[whatever her last name is]. His name has been like that for 3 years and probably counting.

I don't remember if there was any fanservice, it seemed like just a slice of life targeted towards the female demographic that just happens to attract a bunch of weirdos. Hmm...I'd say it actually probably has a bit less fanservice than Azumanga, but it's a bit more cutesy. Basically they just spend most of the episodes eating cupcakes and talking about how fun it is to be friends or whatever, thus popularizing the "cute girls doing nothing" genre.

I would agree that people who believe homosexuality is wrong would actually feel extremely uncomfortable performing the marriage and would take a stand unless they could come up with some contrived logic about how allowing people to commit a sin isn't itself a bad thing. I love to diss MGS stories but frankly it's pretty unimportant in the big picture.

It kind of deserves the backlash. It dosen't feel like an actual MGS game and the open world aspect feels unneeded. I mean the story is boring and so pointless. The structure is so strange and disconnecting. The the open world is so pointless and really tedious. So far the two boss battles I've played have been better then PW's garbage, but hardly anything to write home about and the Quiet one is supposed to be the best. The game in general just lacks so much of the MGS personality. And really fuck Mother Base.

Skip MGS . This game has aged terribly and unless you are already a fan of the series, there isnt much in it.

People rushing through a 30-40 hour game (if you try to complete it as fast as possible) in the span of three or four days sorta taints the criticism revolving around repetitiveness. This is a sandbox game with very little story or plot, and there's so much shit you can unlock and all that stuff influences how you have fun in the sandbox.

This isn't like GTA where you play linear missions that are completely guided, where the fun comes from raw spectacle or appreciation of the open world. The fun in MGS V comes from experimentation and finding out new ways to have that fun.
