T7 S3 out, everyone still unpacking it...seems like they removed or lessened the grain filter as it looks clearer to me? Also they added presets which is a huge improvement.

I dislike the menu/character select music though. :'(

And the life bars I guess.

looks nice but is easily skippable. will have the same shit netcode as usual and probably half the qol features as the last one at launch. in two versions it'll be worth looking into.

Am not going to say that I can't see them releasing multiple upgrades.

But also can see them not doing this and just releasing DLC like with how DBFZ and BBCT are being handled. Rev 2 was also something you could just upgrade to from Rev 1...or am I thinking of something else?

ya iirc it was rev2 balance/systems patch was free and the characters cost money or you could just get the disc with everything for like $30-40.

but until they commit to better netcode i just can't buy in day one. fg are the one genre left where online play and plenty of QOL features and training mode features are a "maybe its good, maybe not" or a "we'll update that eventually, no rush" and for these bigger devs/pubs that's just not worth $60 to me.

i'm not suggesting that devs are purposely holding features back that were in the last game or two games ago for updates but it's just annoying that there can't be a modern standard list of features that all these games have at this point.

At that point, hopefully someone can mod it to be the P4U2 2.0 that PC players are missing because Atlus is dumb.

So... what could be done of this? Rose is all but confirmed to be on the way by now, and the way Ono answered made it seems like this Brazilian fan made at least part of his homework right.

I'll take Sean coming back but I would prefer to see the return of DAN.

I don't care about the other stuff in the bundle, so is SCVI worth $12? I heard VI was pretty good? I played all the SC games up through V. How's the single player in VI?

there's a story mode that retells 1-5 and is pretty short. then there's a create a character mode that reminded me of weapon master mode from 2 where you go from point to point and have different fights with restrictions of various kinds and level up. i didn't dig too deep into cause i prefer MP but it seemed pretty extensive.

Fuck I paid like $20 during Evo.

But I'm not a Soul Calibur fan so take my opinion with a gain of salt: It's ... ok... but not really a MUST PLAY. I think part of the problem is is that I don't care about the story mode, and the actual fighting game systems have never really appealed to me.

I mean for $12, you'll get your $12/2 worth after like 2 hours so, but it depends on how much you like Weapon Master with random side-quests.
