Not gonna lie I also had a couple bouts of sympathy for Megyn Kelly : she tore a new asshole to some "expert" who said maternity leave was a racket, she apparently didn't shy away in the recent internal investigation about sexual harassment and helped Ailes be exposed, she did push Trump shit in a couple of occasions. But gushing praise over her is a tad excessive, apart from those good bits her show seems to be of the same cloth than the hysterical antics Fox has a habit to push on air and she also rolled over to be the doormat in a shockingly mild Trump interview.
Good for her, though. Would be curious to see if she'll keep those newfound adversarial chops in case she lands a new job at another channel.
And yeah, geeks have an habit to try to frame reality into the narrow scope of their entertainment, when maybe they should try to do it the other way around.
