No doubt, but why have a tantrum on Twitter over it? Get a staff member to complain and move on.
She has no paid staff. And basically no volunteer staff at this point. She doesn't attend open and free candidate forums. She skipped the debates. She doesn't respond to media/interest group/etc. inquires. So on and so on.

This is the best part though from her reply:
Quote
I have dressed professionally every day for 2 years to present myself as a serious candidate. Hair done professionally, down and straight. Natural color. Heels.

I have four versions of the same dress, I wear it so much.

It was 95 degrees today and I wore that canvassing.
Every single photo I've seen of her attending any event or taking photos for her ads does literally have her in this same terrible, and arguably cut way too high for her height (6-4), dress with the same stupid white belt. :lol

It's like she bought a "candidate dress-up" play set. (To go with her motorcycle racer one probably. Like in that commercial where the dad makes his daughter be sheriff for a day so he can wash the princess dress.)

https://www.texastribune.org/2018/08/29/texas-prison-heat-air-conditioning-cost-drop/
Quote
At a committee hearing Wednesday at the Texas Capitol, Texas Department of Criminal Justice Executive Director Bryan Collier said the estimated cost to install permanent air conditioning at the Wallace Pack Unit near College Station is now about $4 million. In 2017, amid a years-long federal lawsuit over what a judge ruled were unconstitutional conditions in the prison, an expert obtained by the department said the cost would be more than $20 million.

Before settling the lawsuit, the department conducted its own research and the cost dropped to $11 million, but Collier said in Wednesday's hearing that number had dropped even further after the state comptroller's office said some construction upgrades weren't necessary. The state spent more than $7 million on the lawsuit over installing air conditioning in the Pack Unit's housing area.

As a result of the lawsuit, the department also has asked the Legislature for funds to install air conditioning at the Hodge Unit in East Texas, which houses developmentally disabled inmates, for an estimated $2 million, Collier said.
Quote
The department fought the lawsuit for years, saying the cost was too burdensome and their mitigation efforts against heat, like providing ice water and allowing personal fans, sufficiently countered the stifling temperatures. After a landmark ruling requiring air conditioning for vulnerable inmates last year, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said “taxpayers shouldn’t be on the hook for tens of millions of dollars to pay for expensive prison air conditioning systems.”

True fact: It's considered cruel and unusual punishment to live in Texas during the summer, even if you have an air conditioner.

That's actually how Facebook groups work. You get an invite. You click 'OK' to join and anyone that's an admin can make you an admin.

Also those Facebook groups tend to evolve over time. I was part of a local Facebook group that was all fun and games until the elderly took over.  :doge  :-\

Bernie Sanders will be introducing legislation to give employers like Amazon and Walmart the choice to either pay workers a higher wage or pay taxes equal to the total cost of federal assistance programs their workers use. If an Amazon employee uses $100 in food stamps, Amazon would be taxed $100.
  :yuck
Amazon paying for food stamps is certainly a bold strategy. Let me guess the workers will have to redeem their food stamps at Amazon.

It’s fairly obvious that Amazon would be reimbursing the government.

I don’t think it is necessarily a bad policy. It’s similar to how unemployment insurance works. You lay off a bunch of morherfuckers who file for unemployment you pay more to the state.

It’s a way to keep companies from abusing state safety net programs.

Only real problem with it is Amazon will probably introduce some sort of program that tries to talk employees out of applying for SNAP.

It’s fairly obvious that Amazon would be reimbursing the government.
Essentially Amazon is paying for food stamps if they're taxed $100 for someone on food stamps.

There's no incentive for them to hand out higher wages if they have those same workers redeem their food stamps at Amazon owned Whole Foods supermarkets.
They'd even make a profit as food production costs would be lower than the price consumers pay.'
Amazon could make at least $20 on every $100 in food stamps. The more workers on food stamps, the richer they get.

Food stamps are basically just a debit card that needs a special processing system to use.

I suppose amazon could say “btw you can use your food stamps at Whole Foods”, but there’s no way to enforce it.

They’ll work anywhere that has the machines.

McCain was a war hero, I give him dap. But can anyone name a single accomplishment he made as senator, one with positive long lasting impact? The first thing to come to mind is campaign finance reform, but of course he shitcanned it shortly thereafter. This is a man who got caught in a financial scandal as a congressman, voted for the Iraq war, voted with W Bush 90% of the time, and of course voted against all of Obama's noteworthy legislature.

Also can anyone name some foreign policy issues McCain was right on, in the last...20 years? Outside of Russia.

The McCain funeral certainly was a who's who of the 'Washington establishment'. Cheney, the Clintons, Kerry, Bush, Giuliani the entire gang was there side by side, singing, praying and weeping.

It seems kinda selfish in a weird way. Like they all showed up because in due time they each expect to get a similar burial.
