Although it's admittingly a stupid thing she should not have done, the Native American thing is an example of why the field of who gets into politics has so greatly narrowed. I'm not lamenting it really or anything but for a lot of people it discourages them (there have been studies for this in poli sci but I don't even recall a name for you while I'm waiting on Titanfall 2's matchmaking here sorry, something about the increase in share of lawyers and generic "business" men with I think doctors and journalists/newspaper people being the larger drops as a share) and one of the things with a character like Trump, or even a Hillary, is that there's such as sheer amount of it and lots of it questionable that people (voters) don't bother to believe any of it in a way they will hold Warren or someone accountable for the single transgression that a more public figure earns passes on multiple times.
