The real gaslighting going on at ERA is convincing the posters that any disagreement of the established narrative is dismissal or that dismissal is somehow considered "wrong".

That shit is why I stopped trying to have reasonable discussions on ERA and just started trolling, there's no point is trying to have a constructive conversation because if you aren't on the "right" side of the conversation you will be targeted and removed no matter how polite or reasonable.

what is the actual fucking point?
The creator of the franchise decided to make it clear that certain criticisms that had been flying around online were wholly invalid, and for other criticisms what he, as the author, explicitly intended with aspects of his work, so that people didn't have to guess what he might be intending to mean, or infer things that are not there.

But the fact that he did that makes certain posts that certain posters aggressively perpetuated objectively wrong, but now as per moderator diktat you have to treat what is now an actual disinformation campaign as though it is still true, because you can't dismiss someones elses (provably false) concerns?
