Sounds like they did it right - plenty of options for people to get the exact look they want. When you have that many skins it's not about "buying them all", it's about creating your personal look.
Why are people viewing this as a bad thing? That's what, more than 1200 skins? Do skins do anything but look different? If not, then there's no need to "catch them all". You earn the skins you want for the characters you play.

Shame on them for putting joker in smash if this is all atlus was willing to put on the switch persona 5 related. Every company would jump over backwards to have the character in smash and Nintendo agrees with atlus for this shit. Nintendo have not even put a xenoblade 2 character in from a studio they own that been doing amazing things for them.
My concern is Nintendo elevating characters from developers that are butting no effort with switch releases, I don’t want switch to be like Wii where developers only put trash on.
