These threads are very painful for me to read. You are not the first person to make a thread like this. They make me feel like the way you and I relate to video games are so different that I can scarcely say we have the same hobby.

I don’t even know how to really answer your questions because to me your questions don’t make sense. It is like you are not talking about RDR2. It is like if you were to say “I’ve just begun Red Dead Redemption 2, but I don’t understand, where are the horses? I have not seen any horses. I have heard this game as horses but I haven’t seen any at all.”

I would not know how to answer this question because the only way you can be asking it is if you are from another dimension than I am. Since you are from an alternate dimension where the opener is not a spellbinding propulsion in to one of gaming’s most complex and ambitious character narratives, and since your universe is home to a version of RDR2 that isn’t a peerless combination of emergent adventuring and expertly written chapter content, you should probably just put it down. I am sorry you aren’t enjoying it — maybe your universe has other games that deliver on the experience I’m familiar with in mine.

Probably not, considering Revolution 60 was created by a team of women devs and they still got blowback for having their characters dressed sexy (I think the character design is more off-putting than sexy, but they're definitely all hourglass women with skin-tight outfits.)

It really isn't though... Most producers in the music industry are male, and have a lot of say on the music and outfits and absolutely everything else that goes into producing videos/music (and who even gets to have a chance).

Most women artists are given the "choice" of falling in line with a certain image, or they don't have a career.
