Big Tech has already used most of these systems in countries like Saudi Arabia, Russia and China to get accepted onto their markets.
The problem though, you got one side that fully supports censorship in the name of 'decency' and 'rule of law'.
And another side that's against big tech having that power but also doesn't care if the capitol burns.
The end result being that the next time there is a war or some big corporate leader is outed as a pedophile there will be an exclamation mark saying:
"! This claim of X is disputed" for whoever pays for it. In some cases they do it for free, because the people that built these systems specifically asked their CEO's to "do more".
