Yeah, I think you need to do another lap on your rollerblades and come back to this.

She looks better when she has her mouth shut
I kinda want to see it because I've been to kennywood a zillion times.
Descent rocked when i first saw it. Had high hopes for the director. Too bad about Doomsday.
Nice! They have a new one now that's really great, I think it might become my favorite coaster, the Maverick:http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/rides/coasters/maverick/index.cfm
Just saw Adventureland. Good movie, reminiscent of John Hughes 80s films. Supporting cast is great, and although not a straight up comedy like Superbad, some really funny moments. Recommended.

He loves 80's Hughes stuff like Sixteen Candles and has nostalgia over the theme park used in the movie.
As I've said before, I don't think you should be allowed in a theater unless you are over 25.

dude, i fucking loved it. there are two endings btw:spoiler (click to show/hide)the us ending ends with her getting out (in the car, apparently), the other, real ending ends with her waking up right after that scene--she's obviously been dreaming or whatever--and the camera starts zooming out with all the creatures closing in on her. and she sees her dead daughter.[close]there were some really great jump-out-of-your-seat moments.i really find myself liking horror movies like this one--bunch of people go the middle of nowhere, get chased by fucked up creatures.what other movies are there that are like this? from the same director, there's also dog soldiers and doomsday. the trailers for both look interesting.
Loved the whole john Woo, no reload action.

So I didn't have any preconceived notions, or even any idea what it was about. I hope that after Doomsday he comes back and gives us another serious dark film along the same lines to show that it wasn't a one off thing
Every movie has cult like fans. You don't see a lot of people trolling Dr. Strangelove or, like, Goodfellas. It's trolling because people can't stand something becoming so popular, it's just ridiculous.
Quote from: BrandNew on April 05, 2009, 06:44:03 PMand again I'll post: it baffles me, but whatever.let it baffle you some more. the point is: i expect you to be smarter than "my beloved nerd thing is getting trolled because it's popular bububu". makes you sound awfully paranoid and insecure. at least you should be able to realize that there's always people who genuinely like or dislike something without any sort of (anti-)fanboy agenda.
and again I'll post: it baffles me, but whatever.
