But I also believe that these caravans are actually not unusual. The trip is dangerous and there are a lot of criminals that try to take advantage of the migrants, so iirc they have been traveling in large groups for a while. Trump is just acting like this is unusual.

I suspect that there will be no mass caravan arriving at the us border, as I believe they tend to disperse over time.

The people might still show up, but not all in one big group.

Bill Maher basically lost his show on ABC for making that point, IIRC.

It was very popular post-9/11 to call terrorists cowards, I think because it implied a level of (feminizing) disrespect that you didn't get from calling them murderers, evil, etc.
