This is nothing. Watch the documentary on John McAffee on Netflix to see what the 'limit' really looks like.  :doge

I don’t see how they can keep him as CEO. It seems completely unsustainable.

But they are still waaaaaaay over valued, so maybe they’re just afraid that dumping him will make the price catch up to reality.

Fines and a lawyer will oversee his tweets.  :doge

This will probably end up like a Steve Jobs situation. The new chairman decides to oust Elon. Then after the company craters he returns the hero.
But something tells me Elon has another gig lined up with Space Force.

https://www.xxlmag.com/news/2019/03/elon-musk-rap-song-harambe/

Quote
On Saturday morning (March 30), Tesla CEO and co-founder Elon Musk suddenly entered the world of SoundCloud rap when he dropped off a rap song that was dedicated to the late and beloved gorilla, Harambe.
On the song, which is titled “RIP Harambe,” Musk uses Auto-Tune to rap about the gorilla who was shot and killed by zookeepers in May 2016 after he dragged a little boy that accidentally fell into his containment

"RIP Harambe/Sipping on some Bombay/We are on our way to heaven/Amen, Amen/RIP Harambe/Smoking on that strong, hey/In the gorilla zoo and we all think about you,” Musk raps in his tribute to the primate.

The song is featured on Elon's Emo G Records SoundCloud page and has garnered over 156,000 streams so far. In his tweet announcing the song—and his record label, Emo G Records—the 47-year-old wrote, "I’m disappointed that my record label failed."

Been going down the rabbit hole on some TSLA news... after Q1, I don’t think they make it another year without some substantial changes. They are either in bankruptcy, Sold off, or taken private by a PE firm by this time next year.

There is no way their balance sheet is sustainable without significant growth.

I've seen ONE Telsa around here, and it was last week.

I have someone that is deep in the Musk kool-aid on Facebook and he's like "you're just dumb to not invest in Telsa!" and it's like "dude, they're not at the 'nearly hitting critical mass' part, yet."

That’s actually not really that surprising. As most of Tesla’s sales all come from one model and are in the US.

Toyota actually makes money though.

The problems seem to be

- No excitement for new product (Model Y SUV) and Tesla is yet to build a factory to produce the Y
- Demand for Model 3 has dried up now that the prices have gone up and the pre-orders have been fulfilled
- Competition from other automakers (Volkswagen, Porsche etc.) who are now making electric vehicles or will do so in the near future
- Safety regulators have sounded the alarm over Tesla's new 'auto pilot' liking it to a 'kid behind the wheel'
- Tesla planned to do a lot of business in ZCHINA but the tradewar is making that difficult
- They're up to their eyeballs debt

I think it’s amazing they haven’t had more SEC enforcement actions actually.

Elon makes material statements all the time that are pure fraud., like claiming the cars will appreciate or that they don’t plan to use the money they raised.
