The problems seem to be
- No excitement for new product (Model Y SUV) and Tesla is yet to build a factory to produce the Y
- Demand for Model 3 has dried up now that the prices have gone up and the pre-orders have been fulfilled
- Competition from other automakers (Volkswagen, Porsche etc.) who are now making electric vehicles or will do so in the near future
- Safety regulators have sounded the alarm over Tesla's new 'auto pilot' liking it to a 'kid behind the wheel'
- Tesla planned to do a lot of business in ZCHINA but the tradewar is making that difficult
- They're up to their eyeballs debt
