Women owe 2/3 of the trillions student loans debt.

Would have to guess guys aren't as interested college. Lots of guys in tech that i know went to a boot camp or were self taught.

Anecdotal, but the numbers add up. Black women are the most educated and owe 20ish% more than white women in student debt. Shit is crazy but the numbers are reflecting all of that. This country needs to do something about this shit.

1. Square-Enix acquisition announcement.
2. Bluepoint acquisition announcement. Bluepoint's new Remake reveal is Vagrant Story.
3. MAG2 announcement made by GG second team, now with ground and air vehicles.
5. New IP from ND, Si-Fi Action adventure RPG... wth a man character called Quaid?

I wouldn't rule out a Square Enix acquisition over the next 3 years tbh.

Square Enix is going nowhere fast, their big bet was Marvel which was a disaster on all fronts. Plus they're not doing as well as they'd like on Nintendo hardware especially in Japan.
Their new projects (Final Fantasy Origin, Babylons Fall and the Guardians of the Galaxy game) will probably all miss expectations.
They've had some success with remakes and remasters doing better than expected but that is not enough to keep the ship afloat as the development time between their hit games gets longer and longer and games like Outriders keep flopping.

I know it's not new, but I feel the belief of marginalized/minority groups being able to do no wrong in spaces presumably catered to them is becoming more noticeable. 

Anti-science nonsense like astrology and witchcraft (for those that take it seriously) are fine because FEMALE EMPOWERMENT, so you better sit down if you have any criticism.  Want to criticize Farrakhan and Nation of Islam? FF16, DQ12, and the DQ3 remake (well, that one in Japan) will make bank for them. And just porting the FF pixel remasters to the Switch is a license to print money at this point. SE has also been pretty strong with the remasters as of late (Nier Replicant and Trials of Mana hit a million, SaGa Frontier and Legend of Mana remasters both did really well for being remasters of obtuse and esoteric games), and even BD2 is about to hit a million, being the best selling game in that particular franchise (and definitely a "mid tier" game)... shame about TWEWY bomba though. SE's been doing rather well with their mid-budget games, probably better with their mid-budget games than most companies do with theirs, Japanese or Western.

SE is just better off with selling off their western divisions and focusing on their Japanese titles, with the exception of the new TR games I don't think they've really hit it off with their western titles, and those aren't really the kinds of games that longtime SE fans really care about.

and even in spite of this the pixel remasters don't have any extra content at all, none of the side dungeons added over the years in every game, making a bunch of people conclude that clean graphics and great redone soundtracks aren't enough to make them the definitive versions, so they've hamstrung their own sales potential

 

SE can't do anything right anymore, they're this lumbering ancient japanese giant making unforced errors left and right and are too sleepy to fix any of them

hell the pixel remasters need a font fix and no patch is forthcoming, fans did it for them on PC but if they ever come to console, players will be stuck with tiny impact font
