They went the MS route of showing logos, but without the excitement of getting "free shit" that Gamepass brings.

God of War looks pretty much the same as the one before it, GTAV remastered they couldn't even bother to list WHAT they had changed... yeah overall pretty lame.
Insomniac is carrying their whole line up tho? What's up with that? They seem to release 3x the amount of games the other studios release.

Yeah, Forspoken is definitely a pass for me.  I got enough open world games as it is, and I don't care for super powers/magic as a primary weapon/fighting style.    Give me dat steel.

Forspoken has really low budget cutscene models which is weird considering SE.

Gameplay looks good. Spider-Man 2 being Kraven & Venom and PS5 only is sick. They can do a good Wolverine.


Biggest disappointment was God of War. I'd almost think this was a Japanese game in that sense that remember when GoW games put jaws to the floor with insane spectacle visuals? Now it looks completely outdated from first trailer. Cross-gen killed this game's visuals. Should've been 2021.

Project Eve: Well It does look and sound like my kind of shit. But to be honest, like a lot of let's say AAA Korean games, they technically look cool, but there's a huge style over substance and a feeling of being in the shadow of Japanese games. Has my interests though.

Forspoken: This game just looks lame and with such a western targeted feel. This isn't what I want from Square.

Ghostwire: Maybe if it was third person. As it is I don't care.

Wolverine and SP2: Well I'm sure they will be perfectly fine games.

GoW2: Yeah kind of just looks like more of GOW. Shame it doesn't look like a big jump.

I watched the GOWR trailer again last night, because I was still working while watching it and missed bits of it....  yeeeeaaaaah not really sold and will wait for a price drop.  Never seen a GOW appear so meretricious.  If there's any massive boss fights, they could give a 2 second teaser of it without spoiling anything.  At least they already said it's the finale installment of the Norse GOW series, so hopefully they go all out with it...

It's really weird that Deathloop's unlock is like 9pm PST. Today is the official release day (13th), why isn't it out already wtf? Can't think of any other game that's released like this time-wise.

Deathloop performance reminds me why I never played Dishonored 2, that game on PC at launch was terrible optimization and I figured I'd wait until I had a better GPU and come back to it.

Even in performance 60fps mode I'm seeing some stutters and tearing. It's good enough, but yeah quality mode is fucking terrible framerate all over the place. Raytracing is ok but the 30fps has stutters and some issues too.

I'm gonna guess this is a bit rough on PC too. Arkane games look really nice but they definitely could use some optimizations. Performance is good enough. Feels like a console FPS and looks solid enough.

Art design is stellar and game seems cool. The concept and art setting kind of remind me of MGS3 Snake Eater x Megaman. Go around fight supernatural bosses, get their powers. Really enjoying it.

Actually turns out it was just headbob fucking with the smoothness. Turned headbob off and now it feels smooth 60fps on performance on PS5. I remember RE8 feeling terrible until I turned headbob off as well. Does anyone like this? It just makes movement jerky.

Stealthed through the first two real stages. Game is really cool. Now that I'm getting a handle on it, it actually feels the closest to the new Hitman trilogy where there are these big sandbox stages with lots of "opportunities" and hidden stuff all around and your first "run" is just the tip of the iceberg and the more you play it the more you discover all the stuff in the maps.

Excited for the different time of day options to kick in on these maps. The art design is stellar and would like to see some of these areas with their night lighting.

The 3 death thing and only keeping the weapons/trinkets you pick up if you make it back alive makes for a pretty good intense session. Since until you finish a mission if you die the only penalty is restarting, but once you've finished the mission if you die you lose everything you grabbed in the mission so suddenly making it back to the entrance is intense. I kind of hope the enemies replenish after these intro missions so you can't just carve a safe way and then take the same way back without any worry which is kinda how I returned on these two stages, just re-tracing my path to avoid enemies and get out with my stuff.
