PD is pretty much the same game, hell it plays worse and looks worse aesthetically.
Twin Snakes was pretty much MGS1 just put into MGS2's engine. Yes I guess there were new useless gameplay elements, but the map, story, enemies, and even most of the script were the same.
RE3 plays differently, but most fans would say its a much less ambitious game then the original.
But the reason I stressed that it's more then a remaster, because while you can just say "improved graphics" I feel like that's selling it pretty short. It's the best looking PS5 game and we are talking about graphics, animation, geometry, texture work, and effects well beyond the PS3 original. This is'nt improved graphics like FFXII The Zodiac Age or numerous "Definitive Editions". This is beyond "we cleaned up stuff and it's running at higher resolution". It's a complete recreation. Now it seems to be a very faithful and true recreation. Which I'm not always a fan of in remakes, but I think in this case would upset people if it wasn't. Recreating is an approach you can take with remakes and that seems to be what Blupoint likes to do.
It playing the same or having the same content with completely remade and new visuals seems enought to me be worthwhile. If its not for you, well thats you I guess.
