The leader of Donetsk is now officially a member of the Russia United Party.
Plus all those living in Donetsk will be granted Russian citizenship.

It's probably the currency, 92% of U.S. currency and at least 80% of UK currency tests positive for drugs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contaminated_currency

U.S. currency is so saturated with drug residue that a drug dog "alerting" on it is generally not sufficient probable cause. One of the few actual restrictions on drug dogs. (Which is a borderline pseudoscience anyway, but I digress...)

Lost my job for gross misconduct, what now?
I had acted inappropriately at a work do. What do I say to future employers asking why I left and how can I mitigate my losses here? My company stated they would not mention it to future employers and I got that in writing, but I am still worried.

Cheers

Edit: I was chanting IRA songs in England, in an English company and being a general dick head to people and other members of staff. I’m not even Irish.

Edit 2: wowzers this got more popular than I imagined, thanks for all the great responses. I wasn’t at my company long but, I think I’ll mention that it wasn’t right for me and I wasn’t being utilised appropriately. I’m just worried they’ll be asking about leaving early as apposed to just switching over jobs, hopefully I’ll figure out something.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about british terrace culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in America where you can become successful by pussifying your chant. If you censor yourself in britain, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repeatedly calling someone a cunt.
What this means is the british public, after hearing about this, is not going to want to like your post on either the forum or the discord, nor will they follow any of your social media accounts. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but you have alienated an entire market with this move.
publicly apologize and cancel yourself or you can kiss your social media presence goodbye.

Quote
Amazon quietly removed criticism of President Xi’s books by scrubbing bad reviews, ratings and comments from its Chinese site, it has emerged.

The US retail giant agreed to Beijing’s demand to have anything below a five-star review of Xi Jinping’s book The Governance of China removed from Amazon.cn about two years ago, Reuters reported, citing two unidentified sources.

The move is the latest example of western tech companies willing to work with Chinese censors for access to the country’s massive consumer market.

A search of Xi Jinping returned 82 results on Amazon.cn, and the vast majority of books either written by or written about the president had the ratings and comments disabled.
Won't even allow a four star review, "excellent but I have a couple critiques." :awesome

Berlin (AP) -- Germany on Friday shut down half of the six nuclear plants it still has in operation, a year before the country draws the final curtain on its decades-long use of atomic power.

...

Some in Germany have called for the decision on ending the use of nuclear power to be reconsidered because the power plants already in operation produce relatively little carbon dioxide. Advocates of atomic energy argue that it can help Germany meet its climate targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

But the German government said this week that decommissioning all nuclear plants next year and then phasing out the use of coal by 2030 won’t affect the country’s energy security or its goal of making Europe's biggest economy “climate neutral” by 2045.

...

Germany's remaining three nuclear plants — Emsland, Isar and Neckarwestheim — will be powered down by the end of 2022.

While some jobs will be lost, utility company RWE said more than two-thirds of the 600 workers at its Gundremmingen nuclear power station will continue to be involved in post-shutdown operations through to the 2030s. Germany's nuclear power companies will receive almost $3 billion for the early shutdown of their plants.

Environment Minister Steffi Lemke has dismissed suggestions that a new generation of nuclear power plants might prompt Germany to change course yet again.

“Nuclear power plants remain high-risk facilities that produce highly radioactive atomic waste,” she told the Funke media group this week.

I mean, Pope Francis chose an imaginary sky fairy over kids...

Edit: Holy shit, the quotes in that article just make me angry.

Quote
The Pope's comments came as he was discussing parenthood during a general audience at the Vatican in Rome.

"Today ... we see a form of selfishness," he told the audience. "We see that some people do not want to have a child.

"Sometimes they have one, and that's it, but they have dogs and cats that take the place of children

Imagine a guy who is the head of an organisation that excludes women and whose members take a vow of celibacy discussing parenthood?

Get fucked
