Not clicking that link chrono. "Corey Feldman audio sexual predators" sound like an awesome Corey Feldman album and I don't want to live in a world where I know that's not the truth.

As I learn every year from foreskin activists at Pride, restoration of the foreskin is possible for those that seek it, though it sounds and looks extremely unpleasant. Resentment is their own problem. Foreskin shots are possible for all.

I still think Franken should of stayed on. IMO, he’s basically accused of nothing.

The only allegation that rises to a level that seems at all noteworthy is the chick he tried to kiss on the show, who is conveniently anonymous and who ducked the kiss. That was inappropriate but she’s anonymous, so we’ll never really understand if that’s even true.

The rest are either seemingly agenda driven, or basically just misunderstandings. “He grabbed my waist in a picture” or “he touched my side-boob in a picture”.

I predict that getting him to resign has just opened a door to a world of fuckery when more high profile dems are to be accused of doing shit that wouldn’t even get you fired from your job or anonymously accused of shot that would.

Not surprised that the right wing has been circling the wagons around Franken, since him getting the boot means they lose the high ground with regards to Roy Moore and Trump.

I just look at ultra social studies warriors like Morrigan screeching about male gaze and always assuming the worst, and think that it’s easy to believe that Franken, ultra liberal took pictures with lots of Morrigans.

I believe the women, I just think they are assuming the worst. I fully believe he may have hugged a woman around her waist (I’m not sure where else he should hug her actually), hugged a woman around her back to the point where his hand may have rested on her side boob, and hugged some other woman and his hand ended up below her waist line. I am just not convinced that he did it on purpose. 1) Your side boob isn’t that special 2) I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, in general when it is something that could be explained innocently.

NFL network is diving deep to have enough talkers on their shows. One thing I always thought was weird is that there is no black commentators that didn't played in the NFL, whereas there are plenty of white guys that never played even college ball.

It's a good write up.
The guy really was to a T the stereotype of a sleazy movie producer. Not to create causation where there maybe none, but it tends to get forgotten that while Weinstein was indeed a patron of independent cinema and more ambitious pictures, he often was tyrannical and no less brutal in his work than any major including IIRC, buying foreign films to more or less shelf them or unilaterally re-editing them.

It totally works. No drama, no one playing it up for the camera and everyone is nice. Just like the original. My wife finds the British and American versions to be incredibly calm and soothing.

The Canadian version isn't as good but it's still fun. One of the hosts is Daniel Levy from Schitt's Creek (which is a great show, btw).

now none of our heroes are safe:
Quote
ABC has ended its relationship with Mario Batali, the veteran celebrity chef who had been on indefinite leave from The Chew since Monday following allegations of sexual misconduct. The network today made that split permanent, even though it noted that “we remain unaware of any type of inappropriate behavior involving him.”

“Upon completing its review into the allegations made against Mario Batali, ABC has terminated its relationship with him and he will no longer appear on The Chew,” an ABC spokesperson said in a statement. “While we remain unaware of any type of inappropriate behavior involving him and anyone affiliated with our show, ABC takes matters like this very seriously, as we are committed to a safe work environment and his past behavior violates our standards of conduct.”

Batali had stepped down from both his company — B&B Hospitality Group — and The Chew after the foodie blog Eater New York posted a lengthy exposé in which four women accused him of sexual harassment.

MATT DAMON thinks we need to be talking less about sexual predators and more about everyone who isn't:
Quote
Matt Damon thinks the men in Hollywood who aren't sexual predators should be talked about more.

....

But Damon says not all the men in Hollywood are despicable.

"We're in this watershed moment, and it's great, but I think one thing that's not being talked about is there are a whole s---load of guys — the preponderance of men I've worked with — who don't do this kind of thing and whose lives aren't going to be affected," Damon told Business Insider while promoting his new movie, "Downsizing," opening in theaters Friday.

"If I have to sign a sexual-harassment thing, I don't care, I'll sign it," he said. "I would have signed it before. I don't do that, and most of the people I know don't do that."

Damon has recently been under fire for comments he made about sexual misconduct in Hollywood. Late last week, in an interview for ABC News' "Popcorn with Peter Travers," Damon told the Rolling Stone critic that there was a "spectrum of behavior" to consider.

"There's a difference between, you know, patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation, right?" Damon said. "Both of those behaviors need to be confronted and eradicated, without question, but they shouldn't be conflated, right?"

Damon said the allegations against Al Franken, the Minnesota senator who recently announced his resignation after eight women accused him of groping or forcibly kissing them, weren't in the "same category" as those against Weinstein, which range from harassment to rape.

Damon's comments drew criticism, including from Minnie Driver, his "Good Will Hunting" costar and ex-girlfriend, and Alyssa Milano, who helped bring notice to Tarana Burke’ #MeToo social-media movement encouraging women to come forward with their stories of sexual misconduct.

Business Insider also asked Damon whether the current climate in Hollywood had made him more conscious of the people he'd work with on future projects. Would he back out of a movie if an actor, director, or producer had been accused of sexual misconduct?

"That always went into my thinking," Damon said. "I mean, I wouldn't want to work with somebody who — life's too short for that. But the question of if somebody had allegations against them, you know, it would be a case-by-case basis. You go, 'What's the story here?'"
i guess it does seem like it'd be easier to list the people who aren't doing this stuff
