Not sure I understand the video. They're saying the users with the downvotes in the red are raiding from t_d? Can't check their post history since posts from the sub are hidden from profiles while it's private but sourcing the original Maddow thread the comments from those users were just regular posts, nothing outlandish about them. Not sure how a raid is just regular people commenting, honestly.
The second link's OP was banned for that archived thread apparently and had so few replies it doesn't seem to suggest they actively coordinate raids. From looking at the story behind the r/Sweden thing in the other link it began by both of them fueding with memes earlier last year, which eventually escalated to the point that the influx of spammy memes from t_d's side reached a tipping point resulting in the Swedish sub closing for a day after which the submissions subsided.
They apparently have some mods with awful posts and there's a lot of 4chan cross-pollination in terms of the type of vibe but after hearing so many negative things leading up to the election it caused me to check the sub for a period to get a sense of what they were on about and was rather surprised that it wasn't all it was made out to be. To me there seems to be a mix of people who aren't racist, those who are closet and overt racists (to a degree which won't get them banned), some stereotypical conservatism kicked up to meme-level, some who buy into conspiracies and others from the community who argue for more evidence.
From my observations the community also appears to have posers, outsiders and new registrations who stir the pot with ban-worthy/obviously controversial comments/submissions with an ever-so-subtle hint of mockery, either posting as experiments to see who would agree with them or perhaps to deliberately contribute to the controversy of the sub. They often end up banned.
IDK, there are certainly some problematic areas, mostly the subtle and not-so-subtle racism of various posters (though this isn't everyone I've seen), upvoting certain submissions that mightn't have strong evidence for it, and general trollish wanking around, but of the negative impressions you get from outside I'd kind of expect it to be worse tbh.
