Evangelical leaders siding with a Wahhabist monarchy to ensure arms manufacturers get paid and Trump doesn't look bad is about the most 2018 thing imaginable

Nobody has shit in their own mouth over Trump more than evangelicals.

They’re even dumber than the 4channers.

Great interview. Apparently CNN made 1 billion in profits in the first year of the Trump presidency. Did you guys know that? That's fucking nuts.

That doesn't seem accurate considering how hard their ratings have dropped, but this is common. MSNBC blew up during the Bush administration. Rush and Fox News blew up during the Clinton administration. Fox News then had another surge during the Obama administration. MSNBC is also currently doing its best numbers ever. "Opposition" media always does better numbers.
They're saying its profits unlike anything before.

Usually the numbers drop after the election, but here the numbers increased.

CNN's prime time ratings have dropped both years since the election, but they make most of their money on distribution deals rather than ad revenue.

The Nation hasn't been good since Christopher Hitchens left

It was a one-liner Bhaskar Sunkara came up with when Sarah Leonard was explaining that The Nation enjoys a stronger financial position during especially bad Republican presidencies during a panel they did together. :)

The GOP is just too devilishly good at campaigning.

They've perfected the art of siphoning off votes, catering to enough niche groups to create a big enough vocal minority to win elections.
They just need to figure out which buttons to press to get people to vote or in some cases not vote. As low turnouts also favor them.

Let's face it, no one outside of the Democrat bubble is going to watch the Obama 'vote' videos or Robert Reich's op-eds about Trump.

We've found the script writer

Quote
SANTA MONICA, California — Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams looks thoughtful in in the lobby of a beachfront hotel on a sunny Thursday afternoon as he tells me that the phrase “jobs not mobs,” which he suggested on Twitter six days before, would be catchy — though he adds that Republicans had not yet used it.
[...]

Literally minutes later, President Donald Trump tells a rally in Montana: “Democrats produce mobs. Republicans produce jobs.” The president tweets soon afterwards: “#JobsNotMobs.”

How Do You Solve a Problem Like Hillary?
She’s not going away—and Democrats aren’t sure what to do about it.
Quote
“It’s curious why Hillary Clinton’s name isn’t in the mix—either conversationally or in formal polling—as a 2020 candidate,” said Philippe Reines, her longtime gatekeeper in the Senate and at the State Department. “She’s younger than Donald Trump by a year. She’s younger than Joe Biden by four years. Is it that she’s run before? This would be Bernie Sanders’ second time, and Biden’s third time. Is it lack of support? She had 65 million people vote for her.”

Even if half of those people would no longer support Clinton in another election, Reines argued, “there’s no one in the Democratic Party who has anywhere near a base of 32 million people. That’s multiples of what a Sanders or a Warren have.”

Reines said his biggest fear for the Democratic Party is that they realize, only in hindsight, that dismissing Clinton for the errors she made in 2016 was a mistake.

“Chalking the loss up to her being a failed candidate is an oversimplification,” Reines said. “She is smarter than most, tougher than most, she could raise money easier than most, and it was an absolute fight to the death.”

All she needs to do is not swallow her own booger’s and actually go out on the campaign trail this time and she has it in the bag.

Not sure why Gore isn’t on the list either. He technically beat Dubya and is younger than Clinton by 7 months!

Isn't that every resume of an "elite"

Is born with a leg up on everyone else -> goes to expensive prep school -> Harvard

BLANK

Senator

or some other high prestigious job.

It's all you hear about. So and so went to Stanford (no other indication of why or what they did or whatever just WENT TO THIS PLACE) and then directly from that BOOM great position.

Sure, there's some fluff in there in-between but you fucking know it's bullshit. They didn't work their way up to anything. They ditsy doodled with connections for a while and that's it.
