There is a large age divide found among the respondents. Sanders leads with voters under 50 with 41% support. Following him among that group is Biden with 25%, Buttigieg with 11% and Steyer with 10%. Conversely, among voters 50 and older, Biden has majority support at 54%. Following him among those voters is Sanders with 12%, and Steyer and Buttigieg with 11%.

Just because this isn't the bottom doesn't mean that it isn't a good opportunity. It's difficult to catch a bottom.

But it was Clinton’s recent experience with two other famous interviewers that influenced the kind of show she wanted to create. Last fall, Clinton and her daughter Chelsea recorded an episode of Conan O’Brien’s audio show, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.” They were promoting The Book of Gutsy Women, their co-authored collection of stories about women who have inspired them.Clinton was struck by how different the hourlong conversation with O’Brien was compared with short promotional segments on TV and radio. She had already begun discussions with iHeartMedia, which also distributes O’Brien’s show, and she started to think about how the format might allow her to record deeper conversations with newsmakers that listeners could enjoy well after they aired.“Conan just exudes enthusiasm about this platform and he does these interviews that are really evergreen and the idea with her, in part inspired by that experience, is to do the same thing,” said a person close to Clinton. “She wants to try to have a wider-ranging conversation that will be lasting, so you can listen to it in a year or you can listen to it tomorrow and it will be interesting. And then of course she’ll do some ranting and raving about news of the day.”
Hey polisci nerds - I know runoff voting is good when the candidates can be lined up left -> right but when there isn't any strict ordering like a primary where so many different factors can determine someone's choice, what's the best election style? Ranked choice?

Trish Regan would be a parody name for a host of a Fox News expy in a comic book wtf
She graduated from Columbia with a B.A. in history in 2000.
I remember when Trish Reagan was speaking intro Spanish to Juan Guaido (who speaks fluent english), straining to find words like "libertad"

Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg said Thursday that he would shutter his campaign operation if someone else wins the nomination and rejects his support, as an aide to front-runner Bernie Sanders pledged to do earlier this week.“What do you mean, I’m going to send a check to somebody and they’re not going to cash the check? I think I wouldn’t bother to send the check,” Bloomberg, who rallied supporters in Houston on Thursday morning, said in an interview with the Houston Chronicle.Though Bloomberg has said he intends to redirect his campaign outfit to help the eventual nominee if he loses, Sanders aide Jeff Weaver on Tuesday told NBC News “it’s a hard no” when asked if the senator from Vermont would accept Bloomberg’s help.
"I'm going to stay right to the bitter end as long as I have a chance," Bloomberg vows in the interview. "If Bernie Sanders were to get a majority, then of course not." "Yeah, I mean if it was one vote away from a majority then you'd have to start thinking about it," Bloomberg said. "But yeah, if it's just a plurality. You gotta be in it to win it." "I'm running a race and I'm behind with one lap to go," Bloomberg said. "What am I going to quit? No. You run harder."

The final Iowa Caucus results are finally final: Pete Buttigieg has won (still). This evening, the Iowa Democratic Party released the results of the recount requested by Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg’s campaigns for 23 precincts. They reported that 19 results at the county delegate level were changed, but overall, it only slightly changed things in favor of Buttigieg, who already had an extremely narrow lead. Those changes can be viewed here. The final state delegate equivalent totals have Buttigieg at 562.954 and Sanders at 562.021. Compared to the most recent numbers following the recanvass, it appears that both candidates lost a small fraction of SDEs. Buttigieg was then at 563.207 and Sanders at 563.127.That changes Buttigieg’s initial 0.003% victory after the recanvass to a commanding 0.04% win now.
Former Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang said Thursday that multiple presidential campaigns have reached out to him about potentially supporting their campaigns.Yang's comments come following a Wall Street Journal report on Thursday that Democratic candidate Michael Bloomberg's campaign had "floated" the possibility of Yang being his vice president. A Bloomberg adviser pushed back on the story, telling CNN that no running mate offer had been made by Bloomberg to Yang, who is now a CNN political commentator. There was outreach about an endorsement -- considering both are businessmen -- but there was no formal or informal talk of being a ticket mate, the adviser added."What I can say is that multiple campaigns have reached out, and it's flattering to be considered for a VP role or any role in someone's campaign," Yang told CNN's Anderson Cooper on "Anderson Cooper 360.""I made clear to every other candidate that I ran on a set of issues -- automation of jobs, an evolving economy that we need to humanize and a dividend of $1,000 a month for every American," he continued. "And I said that if a candidate were to make a significant commitment in those directions, then I'd be much more enthusiastic about considering an endorsement."
When asked by Cooper whether he had indicated yes or no to anyone, Yang stressed that he would "support whoever the nominee is.""I am very enthusiastic about having the democratic process play out and to decide who the nominee is," he continued. "But also, if someone decides to support the ideas that were central to my campaign, that would go a long way towards making me consider an endorsement."

Sanders also claims he’s just trying to import the Scandinavian model, which is believable if you know nothing about Scandinavia or what Sanders is proposing. Those countries do have generous welfare states, but they can afford them because they understand how free market capitalism works, with fewer regulations on business creation and free trade
