.  Originally I came into this thread very upset and angry at Cerium but time has passed and mods and former mods have made it abundantly clear that many of them think fond of Cerium so I've kinda gave up being so upset about it. I still have my own thoughts and feelings on how Cerium handled things but it's whatever now. That's why you don't see me still fighting about the whole thing now. I think others who have been watching this thread from the beginning have realized this too and now this thread is turning into something else. Try to have a good time amiss all the drama and chaos and get you a Tag or something. I dunno but that's kinda where I'm at now.

You know, an actual tag-fishing thread in Etcetera this weekend would have been an actually decent way for the staff to interject some levity and get people posting funny stuff they could participate in.  I vaguely remember Tag-fishing threads on GAF as being universally popular. That would have been a smart thing to plan to show that they care about the community and want to keep morale up after a scary buyout.

Instead, it's buried in a thread about a buyout, is thread marked as an official derail, and will be missed by many of the exact sort of people who would really enjoy it, while stifling conversation for anyone who wants to talk about the thread topic. It's literally just a reward for anyone on their side in the argument, or anyone plugged in to a community that gets information backfilled.

shit, beaten again--but I am super curious. I only know PlanetSmasher from bitching about a video game having a mechanic that went too fast for him to do properly, and when people pointed out it wasn't particularly fast, failure didn't kill him, and dying didn't make him fail the fight, he still bitched that it was bad because not being able to do it made him feel bad.
